Tamil Nadu is known as the Health capital of India. Few of Asia’s giants in health care such as Apollo Hospital, MIOT, Shankar Netralaya and Cancer Institute, have established their bases in the southern state.
Patients from across the country and even the neighbouring countries are known to have travelled down south seeking treatment.
This was one of the top reasons, as to why the The Tamil Chamber of Commerce signed an MoU with the People’s Government of Wannian County, Jiangxi Province, China, to develop the pharma sector between both the countries.
The signing of the MoU took place at Chennai on the 22nd September, at the Holiday Inn Hotel, OMR.
