Crescent Innovation and Incubation Council (CIIC) and Coastal Energen Private Ltd. (CEPL), a US$1.3 billion Integrated Energy and Infrastructure Company, signed an MoU on 15th February 2021. With over twenty years of experience in Fuel Management, Power Generation and Coal Import & Trading, the CEPL Group is a master player in the field of providing Energy Solutions across a wide range of Industries. The companies under the Group are involved in various aspects of the Energy business and have plans to set-up Industrial / Technological Parks and Renewable Energy.
Through this MoU, CIIC start-ups will benefit from a launching pad / supply chain connections in the CEPL’s 1200 MW (2×600 MW) coal-based thermal plant – Mutiara Thermal Power Plant (MTPP) and implement relevant technologies developed by CIIC Startups. With the support of CEPL, CIIC will be setting up a Livelihood Business Incubator in Tier-3 cities.
