This initiative has been undertaken in line with the company’s ‘Customer First’ commitment to cater to valued customers’ mobility needs and safety and their flood-affected vehicles.

To help the customers resume everyday life and have a safe ride, the company has undertaken various initiatives in the service camp. The service will include a detailed and comprehensive vehicle check-up to look for flood-related damages and immediate repair. The company is also associating with various insurance companies to ensure speedy clearance of insurance claims. Exclusive insurance representatives have also been deployed at the dealership locations.

The company has planned adequate availability of genuine spare parts and additional manpower (technicians) across dealerships in Chennai to ensure a hassle-free and quick service experience. The customer will have to bear the cost of Parts, Engine Oil & Lubricants, and the company will bear labour charges for non-insurance claims for flood-related repairs.

TVS Motor Company advises customers not to attempt to re-start the engine of a flood-affected vehicle to avoid engine damage. The company has also taken measures to inform the customers in the region about the initiatives through a bulk SMS campaign.
